As 2024 draws to a close, we’re thrilled to share that Mehek has been recognised as one of the Top 5 Dance Shows of the year by The Stage.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to the artistry and collaboration behind Mehek, which premiered in February at NYU Abu Dhabi.
Mehek is the result of an extraordinary team effort. The choreography and performance were masterfully led by Aakash Odedra and Aditi Mangaldas, with a stunning musical score composed, designed, and sung by Nicki Wells. The set was designed by Tina Tzoka, while the atmospheric lighting was crafted by Fabiana Piccioli. Karthika Naïr provided dramaturgical guidance that enriched the storytelling. Together with countless other contributors, their combined creativity and dedication made Mehek an unforgettable experience.
