We are back: Winter Funk 2020
Shiamak UK will be opening face to face under 18s classes for the Winter Funk term Sat 3 October – Sun 6 December, at some venues in Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester and London.
Places will be limited in each class to ensure an experience that’s as safe as possible for all. The term will be on sale on Friday 18 September; book before Thursday 24 September to receive a free class as part of our early bird offer.
This year sees the launch of the first ever Shiamak UK competition. Judged by international choreographers Shiamak Davar and Aakash Odedra. Receive six private, one to one mentoring sessions from our Shiamak instructors to create a one minute dance film.
Recognition will be awarded for:
Best use of technology
Excellence in technique
Little Mover
Most creative choreography
Most original costume/makeup
Most attitude
Best musicality
Larger than life (most energy)
Best use of location
Shining Star (best performance)
Dedication to dance
With three overall category winners (kids, pre-teens and adults) winning a free Spring term.
