Emily May from Dance Magazine interviewed Aakash Odedra ahead of the two (sold-out) performances of Samsara at Lincoln Center. They discussed the theme of Samsara and the Chinese novel “Journey to the West” it is based on, and the relationship between Aakash and the other Samsara performer, Hu Shenyuan. Aakash also talked about Songs of the Bulbul, which premieres at Edinburgh International Festival in August.
