In a thrilling development, our groundbreaking project Mehek has been awarded Nationally Significant Project funding by Arts Council England. This initiative aims to incorporate the rich experiences of the local elderly community into the development of Mehek, a major dance work.

The project, Mehek Live involves engaging the local elderly community in discussions on the thematic elements of Mehek, ensuring authenticity and relevance. Dance workshops will empower the elderly, fostering authentic engagement and community involvement.

A highlight of the project is the live stream of the premiere, enabling the elderly audiences to participate remotely. This embraces live-streaming technology, breaking barriers of culture and geography.

The project culminates in a symposium at Sadler’s Wells, where experts, artists, and community members discuss the impact of Mehek.

Mehek reshapes art’s boundaries, showcasing the power of community collaboration. Stay updated on our website and social media channels for news and behind-the-scenes glimpses of this groundbreaking project.

We are delighted to deliver this project in partnership with Moving Together.
