Shannon Coote
Aakash Odedra Company works with Moving Together, a community dance and education company based in Leicester with a national outreach. Working alongside Director Emily Jackson, Partnerships Manager Shannon delivers a range of Arts Award projects, working in schools and community settings to provide access to dance across the city. Since graduating from De Montfort University with both a Degree in Dance and Masters in Performance Practices, Shannon has worked extensively within the community through projects with Moving Together locally and internationally. Since partnering with Aakash Odedra Company in 2018 Moving Together have devised and implemented a range of education and community projects, including Dance and Diabetes, AO2, The View from Here, Education resources for Little Murmur, Primary School Partnerships and continued support on all Shiamak programmes.
