Emma joined the company in September 2025 after graduating from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance with a BA (Hons) degree.
Emma is a Midlands based dance artist, teacher, and choreographer who has worked with Akram Khan Company, performing ‘Kaash’ repertoire at The Royal Opera House, Motionhouse, as an emerging choreographer shadowing the creation and production of ‘Hidden’ and has danced new works by Jordon James Bridge and Miguel Altunaga. Emma is a Rambert Grades qualified teacher and teaching faculty at Caroline Carr Dance Studios.
Emma’s interest in Arts Management grew during her time with Motionhouse, where she realised how significantly production decisions can influence a creative process. Emma has a strong interest in the intersection of creativity and logistics and is passionate about facilitating opportunities.
Emma’s role at AOC is varied and supports multiple departments. She is excited to draw upon her professional experience to contribute to the arts in her local area and remain close to South Asian dance and its contemporary interpretations.
