A multi-faceted creative professional with over 17 years of international experience in performing arts, Bhuvan’s professional journey started in Mumbai, India as a dance teacher and performing artist with The SHIAMAK Group (a global dance education, entertainment, empowerment company). As a senior instructor with The SHIAMAK Group, Bhuvan taught dance at various levels to communities across India, UAE, USA and the UK. As a company dancer, he performed with The Shiamak Davar Dance Company in some of the most prestigious events internationally, and assisted their artistic director, Shiamak Davar as show manager on various events, brand launches and shows for the company.
Besides his artistic work, he also worked with The SHIAMAK Group in various roles of management, including Head of Operations (India), Manager- USA and Business Strategist (Global).
Bhuvan came to the UK in 2016 for his MBA from Bayes Business School, London. In his current role, he works for Yorkshire Dance as their Executive Director, where he is responsible for the organisation’s finance, HR, operations and policy setting, working with the Creative Director and the trustees to help shape the organisation’s strategic plan and vision.
