Ali has been with the company as Senior Producer since January 2021, before moving on to be the Executive Director.
Ali has worked with and run theatres, performing arts festivals and companies for over 25 years, including: founding the multi-disciplinary Cork Midsummer Festival; restarting the Salisbury International Arts Festival; running Tobacco Factory Theatres; and executive producing Kneehigh. He has produced and executive produced over 200 works ranging from tiny one person shows to international touring shows. Highlights include the Olivier nominated and Offie winning Cinderella: A Fairytale; Kneehigh’s Tristan and Yseult; and Sky Arts Award winning Dracula (Mark Bruce Company). He started his career in London, ran a theatre and festival in Cork, Ireland for eight years and now lives in Bristol.
