Dance Teacher: Semi-Classical Dance Class
Chandni Premgi is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer who lives on the Golden Mile and trained under Nilima Devi MBE at the Centre for Indian Classical Dance. She is a much-loved performer in her hometown and has performed Kathak, Folk, Semi-Classical, and Bollywood dance widely across the Midlands and the UK.
Chandni has been dancing with CICD for 15 years and completed her ISTD exams up to Grade 6 under the guidance of Nilima Devi MBE. She is now an assistant teacher and a regular performer.
She has performed internationally with the Shiamak Davar Group and the Aakash Odedra Company. She continues her Kathak training at CICD and regularly attends dance workshops to deepen her knowledge in the field. She has successfully led many workshops across the Midlands.
This year, she was part of the touring “Ancient Giants” show with Inspirate and has worked with Shiamak, Abi Sampa, Nupur Arts, and other reputable dance schools in Leicester.
Some of her notable performances include the Diamond Jubilee Queen’s visit to Leicester, the IIFA Awards in Madrid, and a performance with Abi Sampa in Venice.
