AO Global preparation material: Week 9

Each week we will upload new material to this page a few days before your Monday evening session. This materials are provided by the artists leading the workshops that week.

There will be small tasks or movement phrases set by the practical tutors before each workshop. Please put some time aside in the days leading up to the sessions to browse the materials below.

Complete harmony between mind, body and universe
NIRVANA
Untroubled steadiness
Free from the cycle of Life and death
A thing to be felt, not defined by words.

We somehow reach the end of this beautiful journey through the 9. So I ask you now:
What are your roads to 9?
Where have they lead you?

For Monday session:
I request you to try and wear white or a very light shades to help being open to receive and not feel any weight.
Try to declutter and cleanse your space. (hopefully you do this anyway!) allowing for new light energy to flow in and create more possibilities (perhaps some incense, low lighting also); but most importantly, this is also necessary, so that you can Breathe…

Synapse Focusing on (approx 3.25 onward) where the body connects with itself and how that journey then transcends out into the collective, and Gaia. Please observe it well as we will be learning and reworking through some of these ideas in the class. Q: How are we in Peace even when we are moving? Q: What is the true movement of peace other than meditation and being still? We mirror what we see, what we feel, and create stories consciously and subconsciously. The gradual build of energy and body connection. All travelling back and forth from source energy.

Invitation to meditate, visualise and journey into the Heart Chakra. Make your environment comfortable, safe and easy. Sit with your spine straight and legs crossed (you may use a wall) OR lie down onto your back, arms and legs away from your centre. Close your eyes. (If closing eyes feels too difficult focus on the video provided by music) With slow cadence, inhale and exhale into your heart space. Allow at least ten minutes. Focusing on the soundscape and your breath, let yourself be take on a journey to the Earth, and the universe within you. No judgements on what you see. Let whatever needs to come up (good, bad, ugly) come up. No resistance, no opinion, no expectation. Just be. As you navigate through, Remember the affirmations: You are whole, You are love, You are free. Once you have finished, blink your eyes open gently. Drink water, and do not rush to the next thing. Reflect. Write down your journey and experience. Feel open and relax. Feel free to repeat. x
