Fundraising

Tina has worked for over 20 years within the arts sector, starting out at the Arts Council where she worked for both the East Midlands offices and National Office facilitating strategic partnerships and projects to benefit artists and audiences. Tina assessed and evaluated arts capital and project grant applications and after leaving the Arts Council utilised her knowledge to become a freelance creative and cultural consultant.  Tina has a proven track record in working with artists, arts and heritage organisations and local authorities and has recently worked with UK Young Artists and Bamboozle Theatre successfully securing significant funding. Tina works sporadically with the New Arts Exchange mentoring artists through their Creative Futures Programme, works part time with Bamboozle Theatre Company developing multi-sensory experiences for profoundly disabled children and their families and has now joined Aakash Odedra Company as their fundraising consultant building and managing relationships with new and existing statutory funders and trusts and foundations. Tina has worked across all art forms, she has a BA in combined arts, a MA in Modern Literature, and a professional background in visual arts and design; but has recently supported the development of the performing arts, working for a theatre company for several years and supporting outdoor festival development – she is currently a board member of Wild Rumpus.

Tina is delighted to have joined the Aakash Odedra Company team and be a part of its journey in creating and distributing choreography, commissions and artistic collaborations to local communities through to international auditoriums.
