Mita Pujara is an arts practitioner working in socially engaged settings since 1994 in the UK and abroad. Her practice encompasses dance and drama facilitation, project direction, arts evaluation, academic research and performance. Over the last 16 years, she has directed and facilitated long-term arts interventions which provide support for young refugees and vulnerable adults in the UK. More recent work includes evaluation and consultancy for arts organisations and evidence hubs. Mita’s masters research explored the relationship between Care and applied arts interventions with trafficked women in London.
