Rising is the solo show that launched the extraordinary performer and choreographer, Aakash Odedra, onto the dance scene ten years ago. On 17 November, experience the intensity of Rising at Birmingham Hippodrome; an evening of four distinct solos with choreography from acclaimed artists Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Akram Khan, Russell Maliphant, and Aakash himself. Ten years and 200 performances later Aakash brings Rising to life with the same mesmerizing agility he’s renowned for and a maturity gained from a decade of developing his craft.
